Test Preparation
SAT Preparation
The SAT is the College Board admissions test used by universities in the United States and accepted by a growing number elsewhere. It is now delivered digitally and adaptively, in two sections — Reading and Writing, and Math — scored together on a 400–1600 scale. The course covers both. The Math section runs from algebra through problem-solving, data analysis and some geometry and trigonometry; the Reading and Writing section tests comprehension, evidence, expression and standard English conventions across short passages. A calculator is permitted throughout the Math section, and the test provides one on screen. Timed full-length practice is part of the course, because pacing is what most students lose marks to.
