What you can expect from this website, and what it does not promise.
This text was written against what the website actually does with your information, but nobody at VCan Academy has reviewed or signed it off, and no lawyer has checked it. The project brief requires a named person at the academy to own and approve this page before launch. Until then, treat it as a working draft rather than a statement you can rely on.
Using this website
This site exists to describe VCan Academy's courses, campuses and events. We work to keep it accurate, but fees, timings, dates and teaching staff change. Confirm the details that matter to you with a campus before you decide.
Course information
Where a duration, schedule or fee has not been confirmed by the academy, the page says so rather than guessing. Nothing marked as still to be confirmed is a commitment.
Enrolment and fees
Sending an enquiry, registering interest or asking for a free first class is a request, not a place. Enrolment is completed in person at a campus. Fees are agreed in conversation, and this website takes no payments of any kind — if a page ever asks you to pay online, it is not ours.
The free first class
The first class is free and carries no obligation. Which class, and when, is arranged with the campus.
The placement test
The online placement test is indicative only. It is unsupervised and we cannot verify who sat it, so the result is a guide to where you might start — never a final placement. Final placement is confirmed in person by a teacher.
Events
Registering for an event tells us to expect you. Where places are limited, registering does not by itself reserve one — we will confirm. Events can be moved or cancelled, and we will tell registered attendees when that happens.
Content and photographs
The text, photographs and materials on this site belong to VCan Academy, or to the people shown in them. Personal and educational reference is welcome; ask first for commercial use. Photographs of students are published only with consent on file, and from a guardian where the student is a minor. If you are in a photograph and want it removed, tell us and we will remove it.
Availability
We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors. It depends on services we do not run, and it is occasionally taken down for maintenance.
